The possibilities of this multi-functional space are happily taken advantage of. The ballet, originally created for the music of Tchaikovski will be re-framed in poetic images and strong physical language, audiences most likely know from United Cowboys. Another Sleeping Beauty translates the fairy tale into this day and age: a deep-sleep in which the alternation between reality and truth will bring the viewer into another dimension. United Cowboys has re-created two classics in ballet in the last 3 years: Swanlake and The Nutcracker; ballets that both are originally based on the music of Tsjaikovski. These monumental productions - Reminition Swanlake and The Nutcracker - were created on invitation by the director dance of Tanz_Kassel of the State Theater Kassel (DE).

With Sleeping Beauty as starting point, United Cowboys finishes her trilogy around Tsjaikovski and bundles her iconic approach into an intimate, personal, yet monumental experience: Another Sleeping Beauty.

United Cowboys has something to celebrate. This year the company has existed for 30 years. At the invitation of Parktheater, we will present 2 evenings of a program full of dance, music, images and performance in the Philipszaal.
The space where we have often been guests to take advantage of all the possibilities and impossibilities; a space in which we feel very comfortable and have somewhat grown up with.
We do this with 'old' cowboys, with new ones and with a host of guests.
We show intimate - mainly solo - work, combine it with monumental images, we let you watch from a safe chair, but we also let you go every now and then to view parts at your own pace and in your own order. Observe and Absorb.

Resilience stands for the ability to quickly recover from obstacles and for the ability to bounce back into shape – in other words perseverance and rebound. That attracts us. In this, we recognize ourselves.
With Resilience, United Cowboys celebrates the Arts. The power, the beauty, the tragedy, the inevitable. United Cowboys as you know her, but have never seen them before.

De afgelopen 25 jaar is er ongelooflijk veel ervaring en expertise opgebouwd in het werken op bijzondere locaties. De Kwekerij vierde onlangs haar 25-jarig jubileum met vier korte voorstellingen tijdens het Zomerfeest in Bosvreugd Cultuurbos. Speciaal voor Theaters Tilburg zijn ze aangepast, om-gedacht en getransformeerd naar de geheel nieuwe en vooral unieke theaterervaring Oogstfeest.

‘Encounters’ shows that art needs no explanation to impact or change us. Art does something to people; it makes a lasting impression, gives new insights, etc. That used to be the case and it still is. Irrespective of the observer's prior knowledge.
The works in 'Encounters' are not exhibited in a traditional manner. They are grouped in clusters that evoke the same universal experience amongst observers. To keep the experience unbiased, we have refrained from posting a text or explanation next to the works of art. The only thing that observers are given is the name of the object and the artist. Curator Paul Vandenbroeck (KMSKA) selected about 100 works of art from all over the world, from ancient times to the present, from famous and less well-known artists. The artists include Francisco Goya, Rona Pondick, Dosso Dossi and Adriano Cecioni.

In the exhibition, choreographer and dancer Pé Vermeersch creates variable performances with a few striking, international dancers (Naoka Uemura, Angela Babuin, Mirella Solis, Rebecca Rosseel, Hanne Schillemans, Ilya Krouglikov and Federico Ordonez). The dance process itself is a work of art in the making.

Apollo kills his rival and leaves Daphne inconsolable, after which he immortalises her in the form of a laurel tree.

Dirk Brossé brengt een uniek totaalprogramma naar de theaterpodia of concertzaal. Afgewisseld met live muziek vertelt hij aanstekelijk en enthousiast over zijn belevenissen en ervaringen als componist.

De Belgische componist Dirk Brossé heeft in drie decennia een indrukwekkend en veelzijdig oeuvre geschreven, waarin hij ontroert met filmmuziek en musicals en boeit met klassieke composities voor symfonische orkesten en kamermuziek. Al even lang reist hij de wereld rond als dirigent van gerenommeerde orkesten. De begeestering die weerklinkt in zijn creaties wil hij ook op een andere manier delen met zijn publiek.
