Home is a short film about the fragility of life and the virtue of solitude. A faceless figure attempting not to resist the endless waves of pointlessness.

Home explores the tension between presence and absence within the strange choreography of existing. The protagonist’s nudity, devoid of eroticism, emphasizes vulnerability and the human form as a part not nature, reinforcing the film’s existential themes. The figure remains faceless, allowing her to become anyone — or everyone, shifting the focus away from personal identity and stressing instinct over intellect, being over persona.

Home oscillates between the micro and the macro, between intimacy and vastness. Ants crawling with tireless precision, the sun rendered in cosmic proximity. In this interplay the human body becomes just another element: fragile, raw, exposed and dwarfed by the enormity of the natural world.

Home meditates on aloneness not as absence, but as condition. It invites the viewer to witness a body moving through a universe that does not look back. Accompanied by music that is as raw as it is emotional, the film does not conform to conventional cinematic structures but instead allows the audience to immerse themselves in the rhythm of isolation and the ebb and flow of meaning in an indifferent world.

With Just Before Artificial Intelligence [SPIN][ECHO] presents a performance about mankind anno 2017: love, fear, violence, sex and hope in times of technological metamorphosis. Choreographer Hanne Schillemans and composer/director Ralph Timmermans question whether society is ready for the profound implications of current and future technological developments. "Black white and in Between" is a dance theatre performance created for the Beautiful After Breast Cancer Foundation. The choreography, performed by 11 (ex) breastcancer patients, tells the story about a woman who just received her breast cancer diagnosis. She finds herself caught in a storm of emotions. Supported by her fellow sufferers she undertakes a journey toward inner happiness and true beauty.

This is a dutch spoken performance with dance and poetry. No english translation available

Deze korte voorstelling gaat over kunst: “een artificieel trauma dat niet zeer doet, maar wel je ogen kleurt”. Of is het iets anders? Hoe dicht kunnen twee paar armen en benen komen in hun omschrijving, middels dans en poëzie? Liefst concreet als het realiteitsbesef van een driedimensionale cavia. Een kunstenaar proeft nog oerboem in zijn tandplak of is geen kunstenaar.

Arnoud Rigter deed als dichter zo’n vijfhonderd optredens. Hij publiceerde een aantal multidisciplinaire bundels (met titels als Het duimzuigend fossiel en Zoek de zeesnuiver). Daarnaast stond zijn werk in tientallen literaire bladen en bloemlezingen (zoals De Gids, Het Liegend Konijn, DW B, nY, DBNL en 25 Jaar Nederlandstalige Poëzie 1980 – 2005).
